Planetside 2 and APB Reloaded

Guys, i tried today this MMO called Planetside 2 and even though the proposal and gameplay seem to be amazing, the game lags and glitches on my pc like u have no idea. Suddenly the map dissapears and what not.

The reason couldnt be my gear because Im not i5, 6Ram, GTX560...

Any chances you could share your experiences with the game? regarding this problems of course.

This game is poorly optimized even now; the recent update in fact made it worse for low and medium end PC's. The map disappearing and lag are due to CPU not GPU as much. I use High settings on gtx 650 ti ssc 2gb if you can try to run high settings and it's decent enough try ultra by altering the User options file and for some inexplicable reason Ultra actually boosts fps. The problem for the map disappearing has never happened to me and all i can say is warp to other continents then warp back because thats how i use fix glitches and bugs similar to that. The game itself is fun with friends, but is by no means a finished product the game still has an incredibly long path to go as PS1 took years to even be a considered an actual FPS.

Please clarify what your system is. It looks like you're saying you're not using an i5....

Second, did you download all of the patches and updates? There was a big patch a week or so ago, and an important hotfix patch for it a few days later.

Third, if you look closely at the forums under Op:X, you would see that Planetside 2 has its own dedicated forums. So you could post this entire thread there (ask for an advsior to relocate it) and be more likely to get a response back from those playing the game on a regular basis.

I personally have not had any issues at all with planetside 2.

I'm done with APB. They banned me when I didn't cheat, then a few weeks later I got an email saying I was unbanned because they had some false positives. Screw them. Not playing that again.

put it this way, its a next gen pc game that is poorly optimized and chews threw your computer but i dont really have a problem with it.
c: costum built pc made for rendering 3ds max + unreal editor,compiling c++ works great for games surprisingly enough

Game looks amazing but i am having tons of issues to, it is not like my rig can not handle it i am recording HD footage while playing on Ultra the game is just buggy as all hell. But dont let that stop you it is loads and i mean loads of fun
