Well, my friend made a deal where he'll give me skyrim for all my stuff, did that, then found out that my graphics card or processor or...whatever is too low tech or something. So until I can get a job I'm just going to just stay off my computer in general.

PS.have no idea if a laptop can get a new graphics card or anything like that

that sucks so hardcore.

Ya you should be able to upgrade on a laptop. I'm actually in school right now and doing Laptop repair and upgrading tonight in class.

Maybe I can help?

Unless I can buy an upgrade for $0. Getting a job but who knows how long that will last.

What type of laptop is it? Do you happen to know your specs? Like what cpu and graphics card you have in it?

Which is why, in your other post, I said "Don't make rash decisions". What did you do? Make a rash decision.

Don't wanna say I told ya so.....but.....I told ya so.

Oi, Rash is my imaginary middle name! Not only that, but was thinking about getting skyrim, just paid in steam(tf2) stuff instead of money, now all I need to do is get a computer that can run it and also be able to run any programs from my tech class(that i'm going to get when I go into college XD

In other words this is too much, so just going to stop and yet again focus on getting a job, even though i almost know that no one is going to call me back

Wow, that sucks. Find out the OS and open up whatever program that tells you what's what. Like mine is dxdc. No, not that. Whatever, it's something like that and I open it up and it tells me my processing power, card, and all that other stuff.

If you're running Windows, you can get basic component information from going to the start menu, right clicking computer, and clicking properties in the list. This won't tell you much, but it will give you a basic idea of what your computer is running. A more complete list can be found by clicking device manager on the left of that window.

For the future though, it's a generally a good idea to know exactly what components are in the computer you are buying before you buy it :P

130 dollars.....

Wat.

Anyway, get a job. By far the best course of action. You get life experience as well as money.

I told you, get out run, read, study, enjoy life.

How can I enjoy life when I have no job, no school. I feel like trash just sitting around. Too lazy to get my drivers license, probably because I don't have any money for a car. My soles are blistering from walking to the market place(4 miles there and back) to look for a job. Soon as I get a job, then I can start actually feeling useful again. until then, I'm just nothing

Wow... That really does suck I am so sorry to hear that I hope that you are able to get back soon!

Wait for the Gabecube to come out (or Steambox, whatever people want to call Valve's computer thingy). Hopefully Valve will somehow make its dedicated computer cheap for people to buy.

Too late now, but can you run it is pretty useful, for future reference. Good luck finding a job and not being so shy, and then come back :p
