So it's on sale right for a pretty darn good price - and I decided I'm going to get it.

I never played the new maps - so it'll give me about 16 (20 when last DLC comes out) new maps to play on :) :thumbup1:

However, one thing that's bothering me is: there won't be anymore Double XP events, or events in general or more DLC once the last map pack comes out, huh? Basically, I'm getting premium when it's pretty much about to become "useless" (except for the map packs - that's pretty much why I'm getting Premium). I want to know, though, those of you who have or had Premium for a while: was it worth it? Ether way, good or bad, I'm still getting it because, again, the map packs :P but stilll, I want to know others opinions about BF3 Premium.

there is still one double XP event in March ;)

Lots of fun new stuff in the DLCs, but its getting harder to play all the DLC maps. Only some are on rotation.

Still, I would say go for it if you have the money, though earlier would have been better. If money is sparse, I would only buy selected DLCs

meh w/ double xp events, everyone is either on op metro, grand bazzar or a CQ map. But I am not one to complain, i got premium for FREE

it was worth it for me. i guess it already starts at the money. saved some since i was going to get all DLCs anyways. you also get some assignments others dont get but i guess thats just for my own entertainment so i have something to besides winning rounds.

the DlCs itself are personal preference i believe. back to karkand were, like announced, bf2 maps. they were fun and still are sometimes so it was worth it.

then close quarters came out. at the beginning it was alot of fun just running around and having action pretty much around any corner. the gunmaster mode was fun for about the time you needed to get an assigment. besides that its still fun if you want fast infantry action but if you want the "real" bf feeling with vehicles and everything youll be back to normal/the other DLCs fast.

armored kill was packed with vehicles and new maps and of course the gunship. i personally liked the huge amount of vehicles and vehicle fights. 2 of the maps werent that good imo but thats just me. this DLC isnt too much for infantry fights as the maps are big and theres not much cover. only in certain spots like houseblocks. it was still a fun DLC and is good for practice in vehicles.

the current DLC aftermath is the best DLC imo. it provides a good mix of infantry and vehicles and the maps arent too big. the crossbow is awesome, especially when you get all bolts. monolith is one of my favorite maps in bf3.

all together i guess premium was worth it cause i saved money, the different DLC themes gave a good alternative to the main bf3 game every 3 months and the assignments are a fun addition.

Not sure if it would be worth it or not, as I received premium for christmas , I am in the same boat as before, game locks up 2-3 times when trying to get onto a server, then trying to find a server that you can get onto takes another hour, if you bought this at ANY price it wasn't worth it.

i bought it for like 35 bucks 3 weeks ago right on origin. I didn't want to, but i told myself i would when i found it on sale. I already had the first 3 expansion, but the other 2 were basically the same price as premium.
