Attention all tankers!!!

The next tournament in our sights is the World of Tanks Championship Series: Spring Season (Qualifiers). Registration is open until February 27, so we have a week to get at least one team together.

The series contains three distinct leagues :
Major League - 20 teams
Minor League - 40 teams
Open League - unlimited teams

Each team of 7-10 players can have up to 42 tier points with a limit of Tier 8 Tanks, TDs, and SPGs. In order to have a full 42 point team, a minimum of 7 tanks is required. For each tank missing, 1 tier point is lost! What does this mean? If team members do not show up on battle day, the rest of the team will pay for it!

Each season, teams are promoted/demoted from each league, so regardless of where we land during the qualifiers, we still have a chance to work our way up the standings for the next season. As always, the name of the game is Gold, and these are the prizes (for each team member):

Major League
1st place: 200,000*
2nd place: 100,000*
3rd & 4th place: 20,000*
5th - 12th place: 2,000
500 per round victory (paid out weekly)
*additional prizing to be announced

Minor League
1st place: 20,000
2nd place: 10,000
3rd & 4th place: 5,000
5th - 24th place: 1,000
100 per round victory (paid out weekly)

Open League
1st - 16th place: 500

At the moment, this tournament does not conflict with the current WoT Classic. Here is the posted schedule, which will be updated at the close of registration.

Current schedule:
Round 1 : Friday, March 1st
Round 2 : Saturday, March 2nd
Round 3 : Friday, March 8th
Round 4 : Saturday, March 9th
* The Spring season begins April 5th.

Rules for EGO teams:
- Signing up to the tournament means that you are committed to participate. If there are conflicts with the schedule, please post your availability right away. It is important to know if there will be enough people to make up a full team for each round. For this tournament, a full team requires 7 tanks per battle, with a 1 tier point penalty paid for each tank below 7.
- Sometime after the close of registration (4pm PST Feb. 27), schedule details will be released (times, maps, etc.). At that time, we will schedule training sessions to go over strategy, tank placement and arty locations.
- Training will be set based on team member availability at the end of each round.
- Team members need to be available 1 hour before each match. This is to give enough time to go over strategy and/or changes based on tank inventory.
- Team roster will be based on participation during planning and training sessions and will be given priority on battle day. What does this mean? A team member that does not participate in planning and training may be rotated into battle, but will not be guaranteed a spot. Why have this participation requirement? With short gaps between battles, for example in a first to 3 victories scenario, there is little time to get someone up to speed on strategy and tank locations.
- Maptactic will be used to plan out each round. At the end of each round, the strategy and results of the round will be reviewed. This will be a 10-15 minute discussion of what did/did not work and how to improve for the next round.

Please respond to the following post if you are interested in joining the World of Tanks Championship Series: Spring Season (Qualifiers):
