I've managed to resolve my issues with laggy games in TF2 and CSS, my adapater was going bad, one slight mishap though. I lag on Ego servers. When on TF2 on Ego 2fort server my ping is 120+ usually 115-120, but on another( Lotus clan 2fort) It was normal 50-65 and same on another server. It's the same with CSS aswell on few servers. It's strangely odd since everything was fine before.

Its just because of the speeds of your internet and where the eGO servers are located which I think is currently Texas? Correct me if Im wrong. Of course you are going to have higher ping. You wont have 30 ping on every server unless you are surrounded by all the server hosts. Which is literally impossible.

While distance from each particular server will indeed affect your ping to each server. Generally the close the server to you the lower the ping, but hop/routing also plays apart. For instance I'm closer to Chicago but when running speed checks or tracers my speeds/Pings are better @ Dallas then Chicago ( not by much but you get the point)
All that said I think what thrall is really trying to say (correct me if I'm wrong), is he wasn't getting the higher pings before in the eGO servers.
As for location we don't know where these other servers are that are Non-eGO.

We rally need someone from eGO server maintenance/set-up to respond to thrall

Cloak- I understand that, im not clueless on it. I prolly forgot to mention that I never had high ping before on any of our servers. They use to be the only ones I had a good ping on.
I've only tried TF2 2fort, I hate any other map tbh. For CSS I've tried them all and its still high 100+

Well... Make sure you dont have any ports that might be blocking connections to your router. ( As in - Port forwarding on your router menu, ect. ) Also make sure that you have anything that might be taking up a lot of bandwidth open while you play. ( Even though 100 ping isnt a noticeable difference. )
If you dont know how to port forward I suggest checking out this website

They have every port for practically all PC games. Find CS:S and TF2. Try actually port forwarding the correct ports for your router then play TF2 and CS:S again. If it still doesnt work I might suggest contacting your ISP and seeing if they have messed with the amount of Upload and DL speeds you have.
