Sub $100 graphics card

you will find that Nvidia is the way to go.. there are many cards in that price range to choose from, evga is 1 of the best manufacturers. I have only ever used evga cards

I recently picked up a Evga gtx 650 ti 2gb from NewEgg for $140... I average 300fps in dod:s,cs:s etc.. and around 60+fps in games like black ops.
card runs very cool and is 1/2 the size of a standard dual slot card.

No SLI, and that is a bit on the high end for my budget.
Honestly it depends what you wanna play. If you wanna do bf3 on ultra? With a 1920 x 1600 screen? Probably wanna up your budget by like 20 bucks. All your choice though. But also depending on what's in your rig then you should be okay to run it on med or high settings. I pick bf3 cause that's the top graphics in the industry IMO so I go by that. But also heard great things about the 7770. And it's cheap too

I LOVE mine! I didn't exactly have the latest-gratest desktop so I didn't want to throw a $400 gfx card in there. Did a stupid amount of research. Basically this card is in the top 10 for Tom's Hardware graphics card hierarchy. To move up several brackets in that hierarchy you're talking hundreds more dollars.
The 7770 would still be a great choice but you're paying a little more to get up to that next bracket; 8th in the top 10. Where as the 7750 is 9th in the top 10. Is it worth it? Only if you have the base hardware to drive that card (CPU, Motherboard, buses, bridge, etc. etc.) In this case I honestly wouldn't consider money... it's like $20 were talking here... but do you have the base system to drive that card? That's what you gotta evaluate here.
I've ran aaallll kinds of cards over the decades. I prefer nVidia GPUs just as I prefer Intel CPUs. Yeah I've ran ATIs, AMDs, and everything in-between so it's not just brand loyalty. The nVidias just out-perform (usually) the ATI's competition cards. The Intels just outperform (and last longer in my experience) than the AMD's competition CPUs.
What I'm getting at is it takes a lot for me to recommend an ATI / AMD card as I prefer nVidia =) If money is not an issue; I'd go nVidia and Intel every time. However I'm cheap... so I often end up compromising.

For sure go with the 7770. Make sure you pick up the one with DDR5 memory though. Its the best bang for your buck you can get in that price range. You could go with Nvidia for that price range, but your just not going to get the same price to performance as AMD.
