They say this will be our final battle... They say that we can't lose anymore... They think the enemy is running with their tails between their legs like dogs. It is good to know that the command staff is confident of our imminent victory. The F?hrer has graced us with a visit before the battle... I myself am not fond of the man, for I have seen him grow into the man he has become and I can?t help but notice how deep he has fallen... Our "honorable" F?hrer is no longer the man he was. He is a monstrosity to behold and to fear, but alas, I don't care anymore. Let the world hear these words for I care no more! I received a letter from home after not hearing from my family for nearly five month, and the news is grim. My family has died in a purge of Jews commanded by our F?hrer. I long to find the treacherous liar who condemned my pure family as Jews. I will fight in the coming battles to quell the pain and sorrow.
2nd day of August
We won... Not that I care anymore but we did. It came close thou, for the enemy had their back against the wall and they fought with fierce determination. We have had reports that the remaining enemies have retreated to the woods and taken up positions at one of our bases that they captured. We will be given the honor of finishing them off. The ?Screaming Eagles? will scream no more!

We have formed up for the slaughter of our enemies. They have holed themselves up in bunkers and trenches like the cowards they are. My squad has been tasked to take the point and act as bait. I welcome death if it becomes me but until then, I will kill all who stand in my way. My long time friend, Lt.Nond is a Hauptmann by rank, but the name was stuck on him from his days as a Luitenant, asked what I would do after the war was over and I answered that I don't know. He is well liked among the men and many look up to him. Somehow I feel like I am going to see him for the last time...

Loss... They said that we could not lose! But we still did. My ominous feelings before the battle were right. It brings me great sorrow that Nond died today. What is even worse is that he was killed by one of our own! Even before the battle had truly started! He was shot by a fellow that went by the name of Meades... He was asked why he did it and before he was put in front of a firing squad he said that he thought Nond was a spy working for the enemy. After someone found the documents and letters between Meades and allied command staff he was immediately condemned to die. I asked to be in the firing squad that put the true spy out of his misery and I was granted this joy. But no amount of revenge will alleviate my pain and sorrow. I can't take this world anymore. I can't stand any of this. I will end my own life tonight if I do not die at the hands of those damn Yanks!
I leave it up to whoever finds this journal to decide if you wish to make this journal public or erase it from history. For what I am about to confess here might bring bad light to some events. I, Unterfeldwebel prime ZERO, known to friends as Samuel Gr?nner, am not who I have told to be my whole life. Who I really am, is Otto Hitler. Adolf Hitler's bigger brother, thought to have died in infancy. Our family was in debt and our mother had to give me away to her cousins after "little Ado" was born. They swore that I had died along Gustav and Ida. To what end, I know not and care not anymore. This is my testament and my last words. Farewell.
Otto Hitler.
