I have been testing this game for a while and have watched it get better with every update. Willis made a good point that NWI is open to suggestions and I have seen them implemented so if you have purchased the alpha and have suggestions, then get in the forum and post them here http://www.playinsurgency.com/forums/ Also LMC has created a realism mod that is shaping the game to play more realistically like INS1. It's no ARMA3 but a step in the right direction.

I still don't think 20 bucks is worth it seeing as how INS 1 was free. Maybe if it is ten or five i will buy it.

This is how the whole division began, playing the old insurgency! As soon as I get more I'll get to buy it, hoping we keep supporting the game as we did before.
Let's hope the dev's don't derp on us like last time, let's give INS a second chance! Let's get out there on Almaden and...FIRE IN THE HOLE!

EDIT: after looking at the preview, I feel the game is worth the 20bucks, and worth us trying it out.

Major update, I've been working with |LMC| Zenphire the last few weeks helping test our Realism mod for ins 2 which burt has mentioned earlier in this post, thus i have not had time to update this thread. which im doing now.
burts comment : "I have been testing this game for a while and have watched it get better with every update. Jeremy(the main developer of ins2 and NWI has contacted zenphire requesting that we let him add our mod to the official game! He is also considering handing the realism mode over to him(and thus me as well as if you look on their forums I have been noted as an official tester of realism mod. link : http://www.lmcgaming.com/forums/index.php/topic,6053.0.html
And so this brings me to the next part of my update post. IF we do add realism mod to the official game eGO WILL HAVE A MEMBER WORKING ON THE GAME! This is increadibly GREAT news for eGO which i openly support in INS2 (when im not wearing the lmc tag which we use to disseminate from pubs for jeremy) Zenphire as well as some of the other guys have no problem if i choose to wear my =(eGO)= tags on their servers. Please Someone has to help me get a eGO server up in INS2 soon. If this happends as its becoming more and more a reality you will see =(eGO)= Draconia(SniperHeadshot) next to my real name IN THE GAME CREDITS! so please respnd and let me know your thoughts on this update.

In light of the constant PM's I've been getting, I figured I'd make a post here to blanket everything. As of right now we have no plans to support INS2.

The gun play of the new game feels on par with the original insurgency. I think though that the price tag is going to keep this game from being as popular as the mod was.

The game is way over what I expected even in Aplha, pretty much the concept of Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat has been saved with some few tweaks:
-Instead of choosing classes you choose between Light infantry, Medium, or Heavy. Depending on what velocity of movement you want and what fire rate you want to shoot and how much you know about the game you'll choose between each. (I didn't really care I just took randomly)
- The battles are between Secrurity and Insurgents.
- The graphics are for the moment pretty simple but they keep it nice, in my opinion it's not just as sad as the first quel.

In an overall, I'd suggest buying the game to give the devs support and keep them motivated to work! These guys deserve a second chance, and personally I've been waiting so long to see the real version of the game that I picked it up right away.

PS: Hammer, Mohawk wants you to get OP:X to support the game, or he will get your scalp.
