Found this game under Free-To-Play on Steam, and decided to give it a try. It's pretty good, so far. I really enjoyed playing the other Stronghold games, Stronghold and Stronghold: Crusader. Just wondering if anyone else plays.

Stronghold Kingdoms is an awesome game. I had an empire of 6 villages at one point but I lost them all due to inactivity. Luckily though it's one of those games that your level is the important part not your property. I'm a Marquis (third highest rank).

Tell me what world you're on and what county/parish you're in and I'll join you. With my rank I should be able to get on my feet relatively quickly so I can help you out.

Under settings, abandon village. Then manually select your location and choose Clare in Ireland. You should get somewhere relatively near us. Playing from England will be very hard for us to play together / give you support.

I'm completely at a loss. I logged in Wednesday and did a few things, everything looked great. Just had to wait for enough wood to build my first fletcher and the party would be on.

I log in after work on Thursday (yesterday) and my village is a ghost town. I have lost everyone. I don't even have a scout anymore (makes no sense since I was scouting cheese lairs).

I have negative popularity and the reasons given are wolf lair's (-2), AI Castles (-32) and Storms (-30). The storms are temporary and will run out, I only see one wolf lair in my parish region and the bigger lord in the region has been taking care of those, and I don't even know what AI Castles means. I looked in the help but to no avail.

I could use some help and how to turn this around. I'll be honest, I'm tempted to just drop the game since I'm buying Sim City soon anyways, but I didn't want to end it on a sour note like this.

Last time i checked I was at -59 popularity because of Wolves,Bandits, AI Castles, and Weather. I just try and max out my food and ale to deal with it. I was down to around 17 with everything maxed.

If you can produce more food than you consume, max your food at X4, aswell as build any entertainment building to increase your villages base popularity.

Make sure your castle is enclosed (a simple wooden wall will do it), and ask the people in your Parish to help clear out the wolve lairs and enemy castles. Your Parish sheriff should be able to use the Parish army to do so. You can also decrease your taxes to increase village popularity.

As for the weather, it's not something you can control, every now and then there is bad weather which gives your parish negative popularity, it's just a dynamic of the game. There are also times when the weather is nice, and it adds a bonus.
