Warning - PC Planet Systems.. do NOT buy from

Hi friends.. Ive decided to post a serious issue I am having with a PC parts company, PC Planet Systems, http://www.pcplanetsystems.com/abc/

On Oct 11th 2012, I made a purchase..., a NIB Evga 780i SLI motherboard. PC Planet Systems first notified me that there was a delay in shipping from the warehouse. Ok, things happen and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. About a week later, I was told the package was being shipped. I never received it, the company stating that it was mailed to the wrong address even AFTER I called to update my shipping address by phone about a week prior to "shipment". I was notified that the package had been returned, that it was being resent to the updated address. It never was. It is now 5 months later and these people are ducking and dodging me. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the company refused to respond to my complaint.


Do NOT under any circumstances make any attempt to purchase anything from this company. There is a good chance you will get ripped off aswell.

mods, please consider making this a sticky.. I don't want to see anyone else here get ripped off by these jokers.

I don't understand why you bought from some alien site instead of NewEgg/TigerDirect/Microcenter/the usual trusted bunch in the first place.

because the mobo (780i sli) is not carried anymore by any of the companys you listed. all I wanted to do was swap the mobo's and give the pc to my kids. now Im forced to double buy a product I should have received months ago.

That really sucks, Predator. There are a lot of reviews online that claim that it's a scam.

If you bought it using a credit card, you can chargeback by showing them the evidence.

Doesn't necessarily need to be a credit card. If you have internet banking you could also check your payments.

And Matt, that truely is a pain.. I hate when people do that. Not to rub it in, but that site looks rather cheap. I base loads of my decisions on the looks of sites. "Never judge a book by its cover" you say? Helped me out a couple of times. I hope the motherboard wasn't too expensive, although typing it out like this makes me realize motherboards don't really come cheap.

just do a charge back lol, problem solved.

any us bank will allow you to do a charge back granted the terms of service were not met.

ie; you paid for a mb, never got it.
