We all create a city in a private region. Then we can all work together to create the best region IN THE WORLD! lol

But yes, you can all work collaboratively to create a booming market region. I'll invite you once I get your Origin ID

im getting the game, but i thought it wasnt out yet? anyways, count on me when it comes out, I'm getting it.

some mates of mine been working on a multi patch for sc4, it sorta works, so this will be good stuff.

It's already out, not sure when it came out, but its out.

And also fps I'll forward this on to some of the BF division (Sennett and SUPERJ and maybe a few others) guys that play.
 
The game just came out today, around 12 or 1 AM EST. $80 + tax for the digital deluxe version. $60 for the digital version. I'm excited about this game to be honest; first SimCity game I've bought since around early 2000.
 
I will be adding fps to my origin account when I get home. I would love to play in the eGO region. My account name on origin is Sivik30 if anyone wants to add me.

I currently have two prospering cities in the region. Plenty of room for more players! We need a gambling city :P

How many spaces per region are there actually? I haven't had a chance to play the game yet as I had to work today. I shall be playing it some when I get home in about 2 hours or so.

There is room for 5 cities in a region. Currently, I'm hoggin two of them :P Just needed to get regional trade going though. I may create another region if we get enough players.
 
Anyone having issues with the game crashing in windows 7 64-bit? I have tired playing 3 or 4 times and it crashes each time. I finally got past the tutorial that I wasn't getting the window for.
 
I hope this thread stays active. I've been watching this game but the budget isn't right to get it at this point. Also waiting for the initial launch stuff to get resolved, just to be safe.

I will let you know when I get it and my fun cities will flood your regions with cash! Or meteor's...not sure yet :)
 
As a long-time fan of the series, I do want to purchase this game. However, I'm a little lost: doesn't DRM bug out some games? And is it not possible in this game to simply build a city within one's own region rather than having it connected to some online server?

You can create a region and make it private but it still online. There is no off-line play with this game.
