I'm using a wireless logitech mouse and keyboard combo.. don't know the type so don't ask.. but it keeps freezing ingame.. like in source and others for like 2-5 seconds.... then when I left go of the keys and everything I start moving after the freeze is over (due to the fact I was trying to run when it froze) THE MOUSE on the other hand doesn't freeze instead it just stops.. meaning i'll be looking around to my right it'll stop then keep going.. could that just be a desk problem? (meaning something is making it stop) so I need a mouse pad?

Look on the mouse and the keyboard and it will tell us what kind you have. If you cant tell us what models they are then you cant expect us to help anything. All I could say is the connection would be interfering with the mouse or keyboard/vice versa.

Put the wireless receiver closer to the keyboard/mouse if possible. If it plugs into your desktop and your desktop is below the desk, or something like that, the radio frequencies cant travel through solid objects. It blocks them off and therefore when trying to do fast actions, cuts off the frequencies your getting. Had this issue with a wireless logitech mouse, plugged the reciever into my keyboard atop the desk, no more issues at all.

Yeah plug it in the front and see how that works. Also, check logitech's site and if there are any drivers for those models, install those drivers, they will help.

If its a laser mouse, yeah it'd be best.

go to "device manager"... USB hubs.... left click 1 at a time, right click properties.. power management.. make sure NONE are marked that say "allow computer to turn off power to this device" .. do the above for every listing under USB.
