Bring Flash back, eh??

I know this is totally a long shot question, but is it possible we might bring back our flash server back to the DOD community? That was the server that made me love DOD:S and join this community, and while I was away at school I guess something happened and we got rid of the server. I don't really know what, I am assuming people just stopped playing there or something, so that is why I am asking.

I know most of our servers get atleast decent, regular play, so like I said this is just a random thought I wanted to share here

I don't really know where people stand on this question,, but I'd really like a good flash server to play on!

Maybe take a poll amongst the DOD division and see what other people think?

I like playing it on events and stuff, can't say how often I would play it if we had a server though.

If we had a flash server, i'd probably play it the most along with Donner, since that's what i used to play the most prior to joining eGO.


However, will it survive properly?
Especially since Anzio isn't doing so great.

We have no plans to bring back Flash at this time. Sorry, but it's not a sustainable venture for us when we have this many servers that are popular, but aren't full 100% of the time. I realize that that goal is next-to-impossible, but it's the reality of the situation. Yes, we could (maybe) add a server to a box, but then the performance of every other server hosted on that box will be degraded, which is not what anybody wants.

We made the unpopular decision to close the server because it was completely dead, and unfortunately, because I know what's going to happen if this stays open, I'm going to close it and save everyone the headache.
