GPU idling at 95%

My GPU has been idling at 95% recently and the only way to fix it is to crash the driver shortly after i startup my pc.
AMD Radeon HD 5670
with AMD_Catalyst_13.2_Beta7 drivers installed. It is also overclocked but that isnt causing the issue as ive tried setting the clock speeds to default and it still runs around 95% on startup.

Have you cleaned out the GPU? As in taken an air can to it? Clear it out of all dust and dirt? What about closing any strenuous programs? It could be a program thats forcing the card to run at ridiculously high speeds?
 
Yes, my case is clean of any dust. And i know its a driver issue because after i run furmark for a minute, the drivers crash then its back to normal temps and not idling at 95%. Oddly enough.

Have you already did a clean reinstall of all drivers for your GPU? The newer drivers could be causing a bug with your card. See about downgrading the drivers to the later version when you didnt have the problems and see if it still persists.
 
Ok, Downgraded to the AMD_Catalyst_13.2_Beta6 drivers and its perfectly fine now. :) thanks
