Idea for Next Karoke Night

[Poor Man]

I need like 3 or 4 people to get with and sing a song. It has a few parts so I wanna see if I can get a group of people who want to help with this.

This is the song/s

[Shaan Gamma]

You have my voice!

[Nix]

Well, we had some guys sing Bohemian Rhapsody last time.....

Let's just say my diaphragm is still spazzing.

[Fullmetal]

I have a copy of 4 chords, but it's an old version.

[Fraurrix]

We should get everyone to sing a line of "Still Alive" and do a recording of it.

[GTRRacer001]

We should get everyone to sing a line of "Still Alive" and do a recording of it.

We should record each line individually and then put it together on an instrumental backing track, that'd be awesome (I'd be happy to put it together )

I'd be willing to contribute my voice to this! I can't guarantee I can make it to the next karaoke night as I have no idea when it is (I have no idea if anyone know when it will be), but if we're recording it and putting it together, I can certainly lend my voice and if necessary, a few hours in GarageBand helping piece it together (unless people like GTR have awesome audio software)

pretty easy to do with Sony Vegas, hell even with movie maker if you were so inclined. Just use an instrumental/karaoke backing track and sync up each individual audio clip with the music. It would just take some time to get all the recordings together and in order to be honest..

[Shiznoe]

It will be very difficult with mic lag but who knows...

this is a good idea

I think I know where you got that idea

Next time I expect you to be prepared should we sing a song through whispers!

Any other musicians notice that at 2:55 it switches to "vi IV I V" and then at 4:55 switches back to "I V vi IV"? Same 4 chords, different order. Also noticed they didn't use any of the many blink 182 songs that use this progression (Dammit, Carousel, What's My Age Again, Always, Wishing Well, and at times Happy Holidays You Bastard and All the Small Things (same chords, different rhythm)), etc. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
