I am trying to play my old N64 but i am having problems getting the video to my tv. I have a Panasonic 42in Plasma HDTV. I have tried using both the cable/antenna (F cables) and the tricolored plugs (RCA connectors). I have tried it on other TVs and it has worked fine. If any one has any suggestions or ideas it would be very helpful.

This may sound like a stupid answer but back in the day it was a fix for every console. Have you tried blowing at end of the wires to get any dust out..?
Actually whats funny is that my dad has that very same tv. Do you happen to have the remote that came with the tv? If so, try every input possible. If I remember correctly, theres 6 different inputs, so im sure that 1 of em is for s/av cables. Mind you that you need a lil patience since the tv wants to bring it out in hd quality. Ill have to buy a dvd player for my dad sometime & use s/av cables just to try that out. Thankfully we havent had to do that, but def couldnt hurt.
