I am hosting a ... wait... for it... contest!
I haven't seen any member (admin) host a contest recently, so I am going to host one!
I love hosting contests, and I saw borokov rambling on about recruiting as usual, so I decided, recruiting contest!
Requirements
- You must be an eGO member.
- You cannot be any rank ABOVE O.
Basic Rules of the Contest
Whoever gets the most recruits in 2 weeks (deadline is April 7th) is First Place, second most is 2nd Place, etc.
More In-Depth Rules
- Recruits join dates must be between 3/24/13 and 4/7/13.
- Inbox me recruit names, and I will message them asking who invited them.
- Recruits must be active and feel they belong in our community!
Explanations
So, Team Fortress 2 is (un)arguable the best recruiting division, however, we lose a horrible number of recruits. This contest is not only about recruiting new members, but inviting them into our community, and making them feel welcome here (O's should already be doing this. e's and G's should be too, but especially O's).
I will check every submitted recruit 2 weeks after the contest deadline (which will be on 4/24/13) and see if they are active on our servers, if they are participating on the forums (at least a little), and will check to see how they feel about eGO.
This means, after you recruit someone, be there friend! Introduce them to people, bring them to vent (unless they don't have a mic, derp), and in general, be a borokov! (new synonym for friendly, good recruiter).
