Okay, I finally got a (form letter) reply back from Razer about this particular problem that helps between "jack" and "squat," so I would like some other people's input as well so I can figure out if something can be done or what.
The last few months my Lycosa's non-slip rubber key finish has been coming up on the more "heavily used" keys (read: WASD cluster). The D key in particular is about 1/4th of the way gone on the surface, while the left ctrl button is now the "Ctrl" button and Shift has become "Sbift" in a sense. The keyboard itself works perfectly still, so I really don't want to have to buy a new board just for this little problem.
Does anyone know of a method of repairing the rubber surface on the keys in some way, or am I going to have to get used to the concept of a WASD cluster that's beaming a cool blue light at me with no lettering?
