To me its just another bf3 expansion. Same vehicular models, sounds, etc. Only thing I am seeing is a crap ton more birds. Yes the physics features seem cool, for instance shooting someones legs out beneath them, or the guns flying when someone is shot or exploded. Graphically it looks the same, most of the same sounds. I will be interested in what they have to offer to make me want to move on past bc2 and bf3.

They never said that BF4 will be a world of difference from BF3. They have said that that they will perfect the frostbite engine and introduce new features. BF3 multiplayer is massively popular so it would be a bad decision on their part to change the game too much. People who have spent 2 years to learn BF3 and become good at it, wouldn’t want to spend another 2 years on BF4 if the mechanics were completely new. To me the trailer was exactly what I wanted, it showed that they are sticking with the solid gameplay of BF3 and adding new feature and perfecting the engine, just what Battlefield required. The graphics also looked better and more realistic, BF3 is already the among the best out there in terms of graphics so there is limit to what they can do before warranting everyone to buy new rigs just to play the game lol

Meh. Since Premium Members have access to the beta I'll wait till then. If the maps they choose for beta don't reek of terrible map design like a lot of BF3's maps I'll think about getting BF4. If its even close to metro or its a wide open map with all the flags placed in a way that less than 50 % of the map is actually utilized in play(Firestorm, Bandar Desert, any other example of a large map where all the main flags are grouped up in one tiny area of the map) I'm not putting money down.
Oh and it better feature destruction of environment that is at a bare minimum similar to BC2. None of this bullcrap buildings that are indestructible just cause there is a staircase on the side. Never made any sense to me that there is less destruction in an engine that claimed to have more destruction than its predecessor.
already pre ordered deluxe edition. Regardless if this looks like a refurbished or tweaks to a already pretty good game ill take that over a rehash shooter that does nothing but get worse (cough call of booty). Thats my opinion, take it as you will!
