already pre ordered deluxe edition. Regardless if this looks like a refurbished or tweaks to a already pretty good game ill take that over a rehash shooter that does nothing but get worse (cough call of booty). Thats my opinion, take it as you will!

The argument for why COD has gone down hill is because all they do it reskin the same game (they also completely screwed over the PC player base but that is a different story). The reason Battlefield stayed so successful is because it changed the time focus. There was WWII, Vietnam, Modern Combat, Future combat, and now more modern combat. I'd love to see Battlefield continue to change up the time period and map choice.

I shall wait for the beta which I probably won't get much time to play due to my summer job.

Just saw screenshot and yea I feel dumb now, but I'm still curious to what the trophies are.

The explosions are great looking but other stuff still looks pretty much the same. I'll hold off on pre-ordering though and see how it turns out.

I agree that's why I said its a rehash always same thing same engine graphics are Meh to me. But I agree on the change between period changes with battlefield except bfbc1 till now ha all been modern its the engine that changed. I definitely believe in 2 years we will see a new battlefield and with new console support, possibly bf2143 a Vietnam expansion maybe in works or finally a release of bf1943 with this engine. All in all I do believe giving us a updated engine and tweaks is great it essentially follows the bfbc formula.


I definitely need to play bf3 again but 5 classes two semesters straight has prevented me. Its spring break now though so I will be making an appearance hope to see a few people again
