Hello everyone, I'd like to post something about the game "Team Fortress 2" As we all know "Team Fortress 2" is a "Team Based Game" These "TBGs" As I like to call them all usually have to do with teamwork. So as such I will post some things people can do to help the team! :D HERE GOES! Yet another Guide on how to play your classes! :D

Scout- Push the cart! Cap the intel! Stand on the point! Sure you are great at chasing down spies but those guys suck and they can't do anything if you're capping the point twitching around! That is what you are there for. So the rest of the team can move up!

Soldier- Uhm...Shoot things. Soldiers are the class that can kill any class. Shoot your rockets and kill people. If using a banner ACTUALLY USE IT! Don't just sit around and die. You are an offensive class. Offend people by gibbing them.

Pyro- Airblast. Instead of taping down M1 and holding W try right clicking for once. An Airblast can put fires out if they are on teammates. They can blast away enemies. DENY ACCESS TO THEM UBERS! And they can even reflect things. [Extinguishing teammates gives you bonus points in game! Help your score and your team!]

Demoman- Demomen are defensive classes. They can set down sticky traps. In order to help the team, put the sword away and set them traps. A well placed trap can kill an entire team.

Hoovy- Believe it or not, this is a defensive class. You are a mobile sentry. But you're so large and slow that you may as well put on the brass beast, sit next to a dispenser and shoot people. You're no use to your team dead so turn around and avoid those dime-a-dozen backstabbers. You have one of the highest DPS outputs in the game but it is at close quarters. If you want to help and not just sit around run into a room and clear em' out.

Engineer- These guys are pretty versatile so I'll go over them in both of their forms. A defensive Engi sets up his sentry in a choke point and farms the kills from the enemy team until a smart demo kills it. Not only are they good at watching their machines kill people but they can help their teams by forward placing dispensers. Dispensers can heal teammates and give them ammo, it is usually the difference between life and death for teammates. Don't hog it. A offensive Engi is the new scout. Annoying. They put down their mini sentries and run away shooting people. Most don't put down dispensers. If you want to help put them down on the front lines with you and heal up and use it to help put down more of those metal abominations.

Medic- The medic is the core of the team. Spies try to backstab them, snipers try to blow away their heads and heavies love them almost as much as their precious sandviches. They can make people invulnerable for a good eight seconds to take down those evil sentries or tear down the newly formed Brass Beast Hoovy Wall. They can give krits to the team to help them mow down scouts and the occasional spy that likes to walk in front of bullets or on top of stickies. They also have this unique ability to heal people at a very quick pace [Quick-fix. Why do you exist?] And jump high if a soldier decides he wants to blow himself up. Remember if you look at the side bar where it shows you the classes, if all you see is grey...Go Medic.

Sniper- In order to help the team as this class headshot people. Aim for their head. Click. Boom. They are dead. A fully charged body-shot can kill a heavy. 350 damage is done with a fully charged headshot. Also, More than two is not needed, If you feel like helping, try learning a new class and pwn with it.

Spy- This class is the best. Play it. If a team has 8 spies you will win. Kidding, spies can be helpful in many situations, if it is used right. A spy can kill someone in one hit. Use it on the right people. If you see a medic with ubercharge ready kill the medic, not his patient. If you're lucky you might even kill the patient.[If you kill a medic that has uber you get 2 bonus points also.] If you die you've helped your team and they can kill the patient. Capture the intel if you can. Don't run past sentries, sap them. Destroy the odd teleporter you see. Not only does this give you points it helps your team!

I know some people might say [But what if we want 10 demoknights to have fun! :D] By all means do it! This is just a friendly guide as to what you can do. This IS a teambased game and getting better at the classes makes it more fun because you have more variety as to what you can do. Pwn them with every class. Have fun! :D

tl;dr: Help the team out yo.

tl;dr play your classes the right way huehue

Given a quite minimal amount of time I think it turned out nice ;P I could throw plenty of things in there to upgrade it if you'd like Nether? ;D Make it a page long and whatnot. Thank you though. I tried to put some humor into it so people aren't bored. o:

Yep I read the entire thing it was well written but I find it a bit to basic maybe add some advance tips or something.

To add on to heavy / demo...

They're not just defensive classes. They can also be used to make big pushes and take out sentries / enemies. They're much more effective when used in this manner as well :)

yay, another thread to tell me how to play the game.

yay.

I love medics. I hate playing it though. I can't stand being backstabbed. Or when I'm playing and my patient doesn't turn around when you're telling them then they blame you when they die. Upsets me.

Scout's a great flank class and can output a lot of damage, but oh so squishy. The key is the jumps, strafe, and a hella lot of key hitting. And precise aiming. Get the meatshots out for the 60+'s, even a solid shot from 15 feet can land a good 40-50 damage. Scout can do serious damage flanking.

Strange, I haven't been backstabbed as a medic in a while......

They always face the wrath of my Ubersaw. Just ask Kilroy.

Good input about engies but you forgot to mention the teleporters. Tele's win matches and a ninja telly behind the front line can easily turn a match around. A battle engie might not always put down a dispenser but they should always be aiming to put down a well placed teleporter.

That is true. I forgot about teleporters....I hate when we have engies and they don't place them. It really helps. I might edit this later to add a few things.
