updating BIOS

ok.. so Im running an Asus Sabertooth Z77 socket 1155 on the basic supplied disk BIOS, ver 1504 I believe. Anyway.. Im wanting to update the BIOS for better system stability. There are a number of new BIOS versions available for Download. My question is, do I need to update in assecending order 1 at a time or can I just go with the newest version?

you can do just the latest version

I wouldn't recommend upgrading unless you have a specific need. Stability issues are likely unrelated to the MBO firmware. With that said, it's much easier to recover the BIOS these days if something goes wrong.

it wont let me update anyway.. says the newer BIOS files are of a different build and not compatable, but all the other updates system wise went fine.
