im thinking about leaveing eGO because their is to much conflict within eGO over the dumbest stuff....and i didnt work since 06 to get to listen to a internet family complain about so much were a clan witch is like family people not enemys

To be honest, I have been in TONS of clans/guilds and you are going to have drama wherever you go. Best thing to do is ignore any drama and have fun people that enjoy playing with you. I think the servers are more fun when people like you play, so stick it out man! EGO needs more players like you.

I am sorry you feel that way. I have nothing but respect for the people of eGO. I have been treated with kindness and although no group of people is perfect I have yet to experience anything worth leaving over. I sincerely hope you'll give us another chance. There is gonna be conflict everywhere you are Pongo. That's just human nature, some people just aren't gonna get along with others. If the bad out weighs the good for you, maybe it is your time to go. If you don't want to hear people complain, then don't surround yourself around the drama. eGO is overall a great community, whether you see it or not.

im not saying its a bad clan im saying that with the stuff going on lately a couple people have left and to be honest that means something is wrong but no im thinking of leaveing for other reasons like i said iv been here playing since 06 been n eGO since 09 with a small break iv worked hard on moveing up and helping others but some people think their better cause their name has an O by it and mine dont well that dont mean anything to me im just getting tired of alot of issuse that others choose not to see..... and im tired of being second guessed when i have to use my admin powers...like i said im thinking of leaveing eGO

Of course you're going to be second guessed, we all are. You're second guessed so that to make sure you are doing the right thing, and not making the community look like we have noob admins. Like I said, it's not just you being second guessed, it's everyone. If you're gonna leave, farewell to you.

eGO's goal is to provide a Mature Gaming Experience, and we should not fight with one another. If you have a problem, like Cronus/Lucas said Drop Box it. I guarantee leadership will read it, like everyone else they dont have eye's in the back of their head. So you have to let them know, if something is going on. As long as I've been in eGO its been nothing but a great time, you just have to learn that there will be drama. You will always find a battle apple that fell from the tree.

Being second guessed isn't an issue. Or shouldn't be. That is the great thing about communities like this. I feel no more important than a 17yo nurse boy name Compton. Or a shemale named Stormy. We are all equal here, es should be treated the same as you would treat a council member. You should be able to suggest things to a eGO as an eG and shouldn't be offended by anyone offering suggestions.

Everyone gets like this once in a while Pongo, grab a beer and some chocolate, have a week away from it all, and you'll be fine. Weeks like that have gotten me through a lot of eGO crap.

I have been in eGO for 4 years. I have caused conflict and stopped conflict and seen conflict i stuck with it because my heart was with eGO after a long time within eGO i didn't want to leave. I decided to make myself change from a little immature child just do what you think is best for yourself.

Im not sure this is the place to share these thoughts, step back and think what you want to get out of this and if you don't think you can, take appropriate actions.

Vent is a good place to vent, there are also quite a few insightful peoples too.

It's like this everywhere. In most cases with other clans, it's worse. At least here we have sound leadership which keeps an open door policy in the event that problems like this arise.

All in all, you should stick around. Gripes go up the chain of command, never down... more often than not you'll be setting yourself up for judgement by your peers if you openly vent your frustration without the proper filters and the right person to listen.

Elsewhere you'd find clans with even more cut throat policies, worse admins and the constant fear of splintering. I think eGO, particularly the DoD:S divisions has shown that we can keep ourselves together through the thick and thin... and that's a rare trait these days as far as clans are concerned.

I am sorry to hear that, Pongo.

To be honest, that's to be expected when you have a large enough community. You'll always come across members who'll dislike each other or just quarrel over random things. Regardless if it is an online family or a real life family/friends. Technically speaking, that's how some relationships are formed, they aren't meant to be all smooth and lovely dovey.


Best advice, just find some place/people you enjoy talking with, and after a while, these quarrels won't seem so annoying.
