Most of the eGO divisions have their own town in MC, CS division is recreating de_office which is pretty cool.
People with MC should all hop on sometime and help build an easy map, like Kalt and maybe a town? Bay Area suggested this.

When I spoke with Kookster a few weeks back, he was almost done with a MC version of Donner I believe.

The server got reset on April 1st Skippy, so Donner probably got reset with it.

1) that's awesome to hear(divisions recreating maps in MC)
2) Am i the only one that doesn't play MC?

I don't play it either but I hear a lot about it. I'm still kind of confused as to how it works.
Think of it as a real life cross between legos and an MMO.

DoD was well-represented in Minecraft a long, long time ago. Who could forget the People's Republic of Minecraft, the DoD/Op:X/+friends coalition that brought the world eGO's first gulag and Russian city?

Free access to bedrock-level mines for everyone, free housing and tools, and we also infused the economy with large sums of money by buying diamonds at any price!

We also stood up for ourselves when necessary - just ask the guy who made fun of us for "building stupid stuff and thinking it makes you cool", when he made money from "renting hotel rooms." We put this up next to his hotel overnight, and I took this picture from his roof:

In the process, we caused a huge fuss because (I kid you not...) "it blocks the morning sunrise and people pay to have rooms on that side of the hotel so they can see it." He wanted to pay us to move the rocket, after complaints didn't help him. We refused.

LOL.

In response, we also added a dozen "mini rockets" along the path leading to the hotel entrance, just for good measure. Unfortunately, the server hard drive crash ruined all our work as well as the upcoming "Free Diamond Day" for everyone.

:)

If only we could have used TnT back then

Some of us did...

...or at least we would simply run up to somebody, pull out a block of TNT, and watch them freak out, type a "Don't blow me up!", and run away...then follow it up with a "Can I get one of those?" ;)

I died at least 10 times building that rocket, like a good son of PRMC. I also believe I still use that skin
