When the real games comes out on OCT 10th... do you think there will be any changes?

OK so i played it LOVE it !!

I really Hope they add some range on the Pyro... becuase i can litterally spit farther.

ROcket man needs a couple of his Guided Missles back :O !

Demo man needs his BIG BOMB to blow down walls O-o !

and a few other things

Nearly every games' Beta stage and Full stage is going to be different. As for the Pyro change you spoke of. I totally agree with this. As it is I play Pyro nearly full time because I love the hit and run tactics. Just light em up, back off.. whip out the gun and load em full of buckshot. I kind of miss the fire rockets of TFC.

btw slavik on the demoman if your using sticky grenade launcher the longer you hold down mouse 1 the farther it will shoot

i hope they add more like having the spy fake death

and some other stuff

hell if they give spy's feing death they better take off cloack.

Completely Agree.

Feign Death was nice, but they took it out to give them something 12 times better. Letting them have both will just make them even more overpowered then they already are.

yeah ur right :]

Fire roclets were pretty damn cool.

Me too most of my play time is pyro... i actualy gotten somewhat pretty good with it

Guys, TF2 is a completely different game from TF1, and for a reason!

Tons of people are disappointed in the fact that Valve didn't bring back a lot of stuff. Well, the truth is, they didn't want to. Its not really a sequel, but a completely new game with the TF tag.

soliders need more of a rifle and the rockets.make the better rockets for soliders but i love everything else
Eire.32

Im looking forward to the changes actually. The more they change the game I think it'll keep it fun longer. Hopefully. :)

As someone else stated, just think of the Pyro as a slightly faster-than-average running speed, shotgun-wielding class with a super-powered melee weapon (the flame thrower).

but seriously i can spit farther... :\

i mean if i can spit farther (In which i gout about 20 feet :D ) then theres a problem :O

anyway he's labeled as an offensive unit.

Also if not longer range atleat make the naplam stick to surfaces for a bit

i mean im never able to get more kills than deaths and trust me im trying my best with ambush tactics :|

I am able to get more kills then deaths but I am using good ambush tactics in 2fort. I never hide in the same place twice in a row. You won't see me, but I'll see you, and when you least expect it.. You'll be on fire. But about 60% of the time I die before they do, but my Fire DOT kills then soon after.

And it puzzles me aswell to why they would label the pyro an offensive class when the Heavy is more offensive capable then the Pyro. Seriously. In an open area, Soldier vs. Pyro who is gonna win? How about Demoman vs. Pyro? How about Scout vs. Pyro? The Pyro would flat out lose in an open area to everyone except maybe a Medic.

Click the little red x in my sig, it'll take you to my stats.

My most kills and most points are with the pyro. I really don't think it's so much about "ambush" as it is knowing how to use both your flamethrower AND your shotgun. If you depend on the flamethrower, you will die. A lot. And you will not kill a lot.

Flamey flame first, SHOTGUN them into a flaming pile of dirt afterwards.

I think they really need to do something about the scouts. Way to powerful and fast. Either make them fast or powerful, not both. But the changes I'm guessing will be with Classes and More maps maybe.

First, I would nerf the sentry guns just a wee bit, either reduced damage or reduced vitality. Then soften rocket jumping damage a little, it inflicts between 40-50 dmg at the moment, I would make it 30-40. The Spy's backstab range seems a bit wide, and the Pyro's flamethrower has little reach, they deserve some consideration, but may not need changing after more thought.

Good points Skareo. I'm sure they'll be taken into consideration before the game comes out alot of people have been worried about them. :x

GGVW, quote me to be able to see the code.

I have to agree with some, disagree with others.

A pyro is an ambush unit, a very GOOD ambush unit. 2-3 seconds of flame = death. I think the range suits it well.
