New dvd burner

So for the weekend, Newegg has a dvd burner on sale, but yet I found another burner thats bout the same price, I would like feedback:

Is the 1 on sale worth getting or should I wait til next paycheck (which is this coming Thursday)? Mind you that this isnt a big priority on my list, but it would be nice to replace this 1 dvd rom drive that I have to where I have to use a paperclip to open it up (not sure if motor is gone or belt is broken).

LITE-ON seems to have faster speeds and more features to it. Never did like LG for anything, had a few of their products, they seemed to crap out after a few months of using it. Stopped buying their products. I only get Samsung for monitors and for stuff like that mainly, and LITE-ON for the DVD drives. Or Hitachi works too

Literally, Why bother buying the "On sale" ones when you can get an ASUS DVD burner for the same price and not on sale? Sometimes sales mean you are exempt from warranties. Frankly, I say just spend the 20$ and buy one thats not on sale.
