New monitors for work... holy cow.. nice.

Just got 2 new Asus ProArt PA248 Monitors.. holy cow, what an upgrade.
I Used to have some pretty decent Samsung monitors... but they look like garbage next to this.

These things are bright, beautiful and the color looks amazing.
Anyone looking for a nice midrange-priced monitor. You won't be sorry.

The only problem is that not too many games have a 1980x1200 option but those are some pretty sweet monitors

I play on a toaster(without the hot wires) and use a Toshiba portable DVD player screen as a monitor.


This of course, is an insane joke, but my specs are around the same as the above stated. Glad to know some people got some nice things though. I'm jealous

Now I just noticed it says it has USB ports.. how does that work?

Through the DVI ports it can power a USB chord for charging a phone or an electric lamp that runs off of USB power connectors. They are common on a lot of things now-a-days.

There is a specific cable to actually use the usb 3.0 ports. Same method most monitors use such as my dell u3011. If you look at the image showing the connectors, it the plug at the far right.
