Xfire Battleground Testing

<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">EdgeGamers is pleased to announce that we're partnering with Xfire? to test their new Battleground system. Battleground is a new competitive gaming platform. The system tracks your stats and awards you Battle Tokens for every kill (and penalizes you for every death). At the end of each month you can use your Battle Tokens to enter sweepstakes for awesome gaming gear - the better you perform, the better your chances of winning.

We're testing the new system today from 12:00PM - 10:00PM PST on our CS:S Highschool Server. In order to win tokens, sign up @ http://battleground.xfire.com/, install the Xfire? client, then click on "Instant Action" on the Battleground site to find our server.

That's some awesome news! I've been looking at this for some time now and I have to say, the whole thing looks really promising. ^^

There a guide anywhere around on how to link our account and all that jazz?

Good idea, but seems to be that no one can authenticate it to even get it started. :facewall:

I didn't know the Counter-Strike division was part of the Battlefield division.

CS:GO is not supported by Battlefield at this time, but the website states that it is "coming soon" to the platform.

Nothing on TF2 though, sadly.

They are also adding BF3 and a few others i cant recall.

Sence windows 8 doesn't support COD4 and i dont own CS. I just have to wait :P
