So, I thought I fixed it, but I'm lost now...

I thought I fixed my error I kept having in Battlefield 3. After playing for more than 30 mins, my game goes to the loading screen and then closes and says "Connection to Server Timed Out." Every single time at 30 mins it happens... I opened my ports and everything, Tried all the fixes I could find, Don't wanna wait 2+ hours to talk to EA about this, how can I fix this error ?

Yes. Every server. Punk buster is updated manually, too.

People are saying after a patch, this started happening.

Accordingly, some days you'll be OK and other days it'll be a pain in the ass to play. Is that true?

Well, it would happen every time for me, BUT, i was having errors with ALL my other games too similar to my BF3 errors, and I fixed it. I had ALL my games on a SSD rather than a HDD for speed, and I had Windows 8, and the SSD didn't like Windows 8 supposedly and was causing ALL my games to just randomly crash at points. I transferred them to my HDD, and ALL games run flawlessly, including BF3 now. Windows 8 just has some kinks to work out, I guess, but I could not find Windows 7 anywhere to purchase before so I am sad I had to go with Windows 8... As all it has given me was just dreadful trouble.
