Starfox 64

[Fullmetal]

So I tried playing Starfox 64. Fond memories as a kid. I went through the hard route(all left) and was blazing through it. Then I got to starwolf fight. Here's how the game decides to act.

Game:"This is a hard fight, good luck."
Game:"Oh...you died. Oh well, give it another shot."
Me:"Where's my laser upgrade?"
Game:"Laser upgrade? Haha...go *expletive* yourself, you get nothing."
Me:"..."
Game:"Hey, your teammate needs help. He has an enemy behind him."
Me:"I only see one behind him. Where's the other 3?"
Game:"*PSST* Look behind you."
Me:"Oh...the other 3 are behind me. Will someone help me?"
Teammates:"DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Game:"Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm not giving you back your health bar because you died."
Me:"but why?"
Game:"CHALLENGE!"
*Gets shot 3 times*
Me:"1/2 my life gone. This is fun."
Game:"ISN'T IT?!?!?!?"
Me:"Can I maybe get a laser upgrade fom ROB?"
Game:"Help? HELP? HELP?!?!?!?!? THE ONLY HELP YOU GET IS WHEN YOU DIE SO YOU CAN DO IT DIFFERENTLY."
Me:"You know what...done."

And this is why I haven't played this game in years.

Starfox can really be a jerk sometimes!!

DO A BARREL ROLL! Oh man that never gets old, I may have to play this game later today!

Let's see, lots of loop de loops, You gotta fly like Maverick in Top Gun. You don't have time to think. You think, you're dead.

I don't remember which route I took the most often, but it probably wasn't the hard one lol. Maybe I should pick up the 3DS remake? The only other Star Fox game I really liked after 64 was the Star Fox Command game on DS. That was a very well done game.
