Waiting to see if DICE has learned how to consistently use proper map design. Too many maps in bf3 have either a ridiculous bias for one side or they have too much of the map so underutilized that most of the map is just a waste of space(looking at you firestorm bandar and pretty much all the AK maps). I think endgame did it better with spreading out flags properly except for riverside.

I would like to see large maps with properly spread out points. More options for infantry to actually be able to get from point to point. Actually the AK maps would have been significantly better with dirtbikes added instead of the ATV which magically stops you from twisting your torso to fire more than a 90 degree arc. At a minimum they should have let you choose to sit forward. Quite possible in RL considering I've done it.

Most likely though we'll get terrible linear maps like metro, and damavand where there's no real means of tactically bypassing a point, the Little Bird IMO isn't enough as one squad is enough to prevent it from ever taking the other point, and Large maps with all the points clustered in a relatively tiny portion of the map. And don't even get me started on the class and weapon imbalances. Any time a certain class and weapon is considered the defacto kit to use if you want to win you've failed to properly balance your game. So unless they prove otherwise I'm not giving them more money to regress in map and game design.

*Game play footage meaning not 15 minutes of scripted scenes and 2 minutes of killing bots.

I always laugh at the fact that EA is rated as the "worst company in America" when you have companies like all of the banks or oil companies that screw people out of millions every day, and all EA does is make sub-par games with poor customer service.

That aside, I preordered it a few weeks ago. I figure if I spend 60-70 bucks on a game and get 100 hours of enjoyment out of it (I'm at nearly 300 on BF3), that's a pretty cost effective form of entertainment.

If I remember correctly it's because its an online poll. The combined forces of reddit and 4chan upon finding out there is a poll for worst company in America would flock to it and immediately derail a company they feel has slighted them. As I would suspect that redditors and 4channers outnumber the average consumer and they also tend to be a major portion of gamers in the world. The poll naturally gets skewed toward a game company.

Just my theory at least. I personally think Activision is the far worse company(compared to EA, my vote would go to BofA as well overall) by reselling the same shill every year and calling it progress. At least with EA even as they are ruining franchises one could at least argue they are attempting some form of trying to make things new and interesting. Just doing it very very badly. Although the SimCity debacle I'm sure could be argued against them.

For me in person it doesn't even matter who makes Battlefield. I enjoyed BF 1942 when it started as much as any other BF title. Games always will have their glitches their problems and their bugs no matter who makes em or what genre. The main factor is ENTERTAINMENT and therefore as long as I am entertained I will enjoy it with bugs and probs and glitches as much as without . You'll never be able to satisfy everyone especially in a fast changing area such as gaming
