The falling value of Ref and rise of Key's explained

I'll explain in simpler terms. The Team Fortress community that are actually traders, are just too greedy and value pixels more than a car or a home.

Most of the big traders don't even play TF2. They use it to make money for their worm farm.

The good old times when a key was 2.66...

I was even less before F2P. Ironically, "free" idle accounts still require at least a $5 purchase to trade, the same cost as TF2 right before it went F2P. It's not that it's easier to make idle accounts, it's that it has become more well known and widespread, where even your average grade schooler wanting in on some extra cash can find the means to do so through this digital economy.

Good video. Takes me back to my econ 101 class, or better yet my high school econ class (now BA Economics, MBA).

i started trading when keys were 2.33.... pretty sad what they are at now. i stopped trading when they hit 3.22... it felt wrong to pay that much for a key. now i just play the game.
