So what's everyone's ideas on 2160p!?

So recently I've seen double 1080p Tv's hit the market. Yes ladies and gentlemen, that's 3840x2160p. HELLLO!

Ill take this as a hint that the nvidia 700series and radeon 8000series are quite a lot more powerful than what's on the market now. And it looks as if we will be moving the UltraHD soon. What does this mean for BF4!?
 
I dont even play at 1080pm gotta play at that 1200x800 for 200fps recording lol
 
I play at 800x600, seems like it gets me the best registry on my shots. As long as I destroy faces I don't care how the game looks. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

It doesn't change your hit registry it changes your fps to be higher and it also makes everything seem larger and in turn you don't see the errors in aiming as much so you appear to get better hit registry.
 
Lol I'm just in aww, why aren't you both playing xbox and ps3 then? No place for that kind of resolution here ;p
 
Actually 720p isn't bad but 800x600 shadow!? Really? Lol there no way I could play that sober
 
I play PC games to see the quality! Play the game how it was meant to be played. Thats how I roll!!

I mean better resolution is great and all, but not many games, even AAA games, have settings that allow a resolution greater than 1920x1080. If they did I'd have sprung for a 1440p monitor a few months ago. Also a lot more people would recognize 4K resolution over 2160p and in saying that nearly every 4K is incredibly expensive for something that not a lot of games or even tv shows support.
 
Waste of money. If you want it for movies or anything other than gaming, 4k is the next standard, wait til content starts coming out for 4k and the prices come down.
For gaming there's no point of going over 1080p (maybe 1600p if you have a super beastly setup) because you lose frames. Smoothness>more pixels any day.
 
2160p is class 4K fellas! lol.

And the nvidia Titan is the only card with the ability to hit that resolution anyway. I'm expecting them to blow our minds in the new year

Lol, I misread what you said, I thought you said the one that's like 3200x2000
 
I play in 1680 x 1050 all the time and thats good enough for me. Anything higher would be overkill in my opinion. I wouldnt mind having a 3 screen setup but that would be about it. Dont know if that would be any more helpful than just one monitor but it would be cool. :D

Yeah your just shy of 1080p with that res anyway. And is most likely your "Native" resolution, so I'm sure it looks next to the same.

3 monitors help quite a bit. Your viewing angle increases about double(peripherals). So you don't have to move your mouse to see beside you. Amazing for jet pilots and choppers (hint hint). Even for infantry, it seems you "hack" because your soldier suddenly becomes evolved or advanced in senses...lol. I'd suggest it if uve got the comp power
