Anime Evangelion 3.33/Q

What are your thoughts on it? It seemed so disconnected.... I was sadly disappointing as a hardcore NGE fan.

I enjoyed it(watched the series at least half a dozen times). I was a bit disappointed that they took nothing from the preview at the end of 2.22, but I still enjoyed it.
My only question is

The preview seemed so good.... and then this. The whole 14 year thing was really confusing... I also noted they said some things then never revisited it to explain. It wasn't what I expected at all.
