Yeah have to agree with that. After all that at least that cat fight happened. Manami punch was exactly how I felt about the show at that point.

Episode 16 was the episode in which Manami secured her spot as the best character. She's the only one who knows what's up, the only sane voice of reason.

This is utter heresy. Manami isn't the "voice of reason", she's only jealous and bitter the dude she's loved for 10 years (and never pursued) does what he does, and then flips out when she gets shut down. A very good character for the audience to dislike and for certain people to associate with, but by far not the best.

I had watched the first season a while back and only discovered last month that a new season was airing. Caught up on this a few days ago. Pleasantly surprised with the series as a whole, barring some unnecessary fanservice. The show "devolving" into a harem wasn't exactly unwanted, but for a show called what it is, I'm not exactly wanting Mr. Protagonist to fret over other girls.
