[Idea] Private server for the clan

Hi everyone,
I'm new here so this may be in the wrong place, but I had an Idea yesterday. I notice that we have an assortment of servers, and an event server. Since that event server is unused 95% of the time (assuming it is used for a 1 hour event every day), I thought we could turn it into a private server for the clan. I say this because I noticed on many other servers, we only have 4 clan members on a server at any given time, and i think it would be a great way for the division to play together. Come an event, it could be rebooted into its old event server self(im sure there's a way to have 2 separate sets of options somewhere). it would have to be modified so members don't completely abandon other servers, but I think it would be nice to play with a set team sometimes.

Second thing, The idea may sound fun. But those 4 clan members you see on a server, will stop playing that server to play on the eGO private one.

Aliens will pop out of nowhere, Children will start using the terms "Yolo" and "Swag" by the age of 3, And the worse thing yet, all hats will be destroyed.*

Why? I don't see the benefit of an exclusive server.

Basically, what NM is trying to say is that we need those 4 people on the servers (especially if they're admins) to help keep order. There's a reason why we play on our servers.

In the past, we've tried doubling the events server as another server. It once doubled as a trade server and a payload server, neither of which worked well. The events server is also used for admin training classes at random times during the day, so there would be random kicks. Granted, we EC's also use the server to test plugins and maps as well, or to look at maps for events. It wouldn't quite work right either as every time the map changed, an EC/Leadership/AT would have to change the password back to whatever it would be set for as a private clan server.

Also, we need the members on other servers to keep order, even if only one of them is an admin. Those other members can still help by recruiting. We use this server nightly to bring fun events and come together to have fun and relax after a long day. You can play with your friends and clanmates on another one of our servers during the non-event times. I don't mean to crush any chance of it happening, but I don't foresee it happening any time soon with the recent steampipe update and work being done on the events server.

Yeah this will never happen sorry. I have played on the other servers that event server turned into.... bad idea. But Good Luck!

It would be pretty difficult trying to fill up that server, also it could be opposite we could be filling up that one server then having no other servers to fill or recruit in...

Heh pretty much I think you need to visit all the sevrer's because theres a ton more that play on them also we need our Admins and clan members to help keep the peace on our servers and help recruit new members to our servers.

what everyone else has said, but there are also people who play on our servers who arnt in the clan, that we are all great friends with, and also it would probably never have more than like 4 people in it

Just a wild thought. I know we have many friends outside the clan, I just thought some sort of unofficial inter-murals or something might be used. Seems like a bad Idea in retrospect .
