Why Should I play DoD:S

So I'm part of the TF2 division and I'm starting to get unbolted in some other divisions as well, so I would like o ask the people of this division why should I start to take part in your division. I already will reguardless but I'd like I know your feelings of the game and eGO servers on it. Some positive, some negatives, some baby cats tap dancing, I dunno. Just tell me why you think people shoud get nvolved in this division

DoD is an outdated game forgotten by Valve and overlooked by a majority of Steam users. However, a lot of people love the game because they have played it for so long and the people who play are some of the best around (personality wise). For some reason they (we) play the same maps over and over again and still find it fun mostly because of the people they play with.

DoD:S is like that old clunker of a car you see people driving. Yeah it isn't the prettiest or fastest car, but the owner loves it because of the memories they had with it. It may leak oil, have a crappy paint job, but it rarely lets them down, and they get to be a part of the old clunker car club.

DoD is fun with the right company. However, if you haven't played it (or something like it) repetitively for years, you may not like it. The best thing DoD has going for it are the veterans of DOD. Whether it is a pub like Redbud, a loud-mouthed, vulgar woman like Fluffy, an ex-DoD member like me, or some of the current DoD members, you're likely to have fun in the game with the right company no matter your skill level.

TL;DR The game is ok (lame by today's standards) but the players make it fun.

I've been hopping in and out of DoD:S (I'm also from the TF2 Division) these past few days. I will say, i am terrible but some how its been fun , there's almost zero judgement (everyone seems to just roll with the game), I even had this one guy train me for a good 30 mins the first day, and everyone has been really cool.

And this is why you should play Day of Defeat Source!

The game is a bit rusty but the people make the game what it is.
