Until recently, I didn't know that GRO was out of closed beta. I was really excited for the game since I haven't played a Ghost Recon since the PSP games. Ubisoft put it together pretty well. So far, it's balanced, the cover system is amazing(although it is missing cover-to-cover elements), The weapons aren't OP, maps are long enough so there isnt a guy running down a hall blasting everyone with a shotty(I'm referencing COD if you didn't know) Overall, it works. I like it, and you dont even have to sign up if you already have a UPlay account. It's smaller in file size compared to Tribes(I like this too), Blacklight(I also like this), and Planetside(by like 8gb) . Theres also already a clan system in place, and it's set up so you can get around 2500 in IGC(It's called RP) right off the bat by just going into each of you classes. Also, clans only cost 1k RP. The first set up weapons you can unlock from the market are under 2k without attachments. Attachments are a bit pricey tho. For example, a Holo sight costs 900. But that and the cover thing dont ruin the game. You can set an 8-person party too. Above all, they made it so it's not a run in and shoot and you'll be fine. It's almost garunteed if you're not in cover and you're coming down the hall with the enemy team facing you, you're going to die. They made it so theres way to flank if the enemy isn't paying attention. I actually jumped up onto a little thing another guy was against and shot him and his friend with a shotty . They also have a little firing range loaded up with every weapon in the game in the main menu so you can try out any gun regardless of level, but of course there is a class restriction for the guns. Thanks for the heads up Doc, I will check it out sometime! I had mixed feelings about the last Ghost Recon Game, Future Soldier. Enjoyed the single player but had a bad MP experience.

I'll let you know when I get this, maybe we can squad up together!

Coo. So far, I think a team thts coordinated would probs be best for a tac shooter like this. Maybe 4 assault, 2 support and 2 recon would is one of the better combos for a squad
