Problems

Hey
I have a problem on starting DoD When i try to start it i get the message
Scanning Steam games Updates...... already waited like 1 hour ( was whatching a movie ) still nothing happened
Last tiem i fixed it with just reinstalling it but i dont want to reinstall every time i get that mesage was already the third time now
Any suggestions ?

This seems to be an error with various fixes..

The first one is to check your task manager - sometimes there is more than one copy of Steam.exe running, and it causes issues. Check that out.

The next solution involves a full steam reinstall. You can do this but SAVE THE STEAMAPPS directory first. Then you dont have to reinstall the games.

I just reset Steam and that usually fixes it for me, but I rarely get this problem. It may be something else going on for you.

Try temporarily turning off any and all anti-virus/firewalls, so that steam can update correctly.
