Spicing up my casing with some lights

My Cooler Master HAF 922 case came with a nice LED front fan. I'm interested now though, is there any good way to light up the interior of my case? Just for aesthetic purposes.

You can buy some LED cathodes. Stick it on some velcro tape, hang it from the top of the interior. You now have blue/green/red lighting display inside. The one I have will connect to a regular 4 pin molex.

12 inches of cable is definitely more than enough too for what I want to do.. Very cheap too

Cathodes aren't great because you have to put the inverter somewhere, I suggest LED strips

I have two strips of light in my case. I will search the names of it later on for you.
There is quite a difference and I prefer one of the two way more than the other.

Hi,

I have a BitFenix Alchemy Connect 60 cm/30 led Blau and a NZXT Blue LED sleeve 24x 2meter.

In my opinion, the Alchemy looks way more awesome as it performs more as one big light over a spread distance while the LED sleeve is made out of a few light sources.

In short: I reccomend to not buy such a LED sleeve

So the one on the inside is known as alchemy led strip or just led strip? I do like the way it looks on the inside. It definitely is bright on the inside, & I did once buy the cold cathode stick for the inside, but it never did last long. How long have you had that led strip for?

the LED strips will outlast the computer. And the next computer.. and the one after that.

Both are bought around the first month this year. So that won't say a lot.
But of course what DragonD says is correct. A LED is very sustainable.

The Alchemy is the one in the inside. The LED too, but that is at the bottom of the case. (needs a power source huh )
