My computer died over this past weekend. I'd been having sound issues for a few days beforehand, and it now won't power on at all. I guess those sound issues were an early warning of some power supply or motherboard issue.

This system was almost 6 years old, so I've been planning on building a new one. At this point, I don't think it's worth spending the time (and money) to diagnose the issue on this machine. I'll just have to move my plans up from "real soon now" to "now". Of course, it'll still take a few weeks to put everything together.

I don't have another gaming PC, so I'll be won't be in-game until I get the new machine up and running.

Have fun out there...and don't be surprised if I post a few build-related questions in the Tech Talk board :)

sorry to hear about your computer dying on ya. Hopefully you get that new rig up and running soon! I'm in the process of building a new pc myself. The people over in the Tech forums are a great help!

See you back in the servers real soon!!

Dont forget to buy from newegg through eGO website. I cant find the link right now.

Sorry to hear that, Mav
I know the pain of having no functioning gaming rig a couple of years ago. :(

Hope to see you on the servers soon.

Do this! Artimus told me eGO gets a very small portion of your purchase (but when you are purchasing a whole computer, that isn't nothing...)

Sorry to hear that Mav. Can't wait till you are back in-game!

Mavwreck, go check out this site: www.pricewatch.com.
The site advertises for a ton of companies selling anything pc, from pieces parts, to barebone systems, to complete turnkey pc's.:biggrin_old:

Dbad!

That is it Static, you go there, click on newegg, sign in to ur account and buy. Only difference is how you get to the newegg site. Prices are the same, but eGO gets credit/commission for sending you to them.

I went down just the other week due to my power supply. I felt your pain, good luck in all ventures and if you can keep us posted on progress all the better!
