Server ranking thread?

Hey,

just wanted to ask, where did the server ranking thread go ?
It was really interesting to watch how our servers change, and kinda motivates to play more on the weaker servers.

I appreciate the effort put in these thread, could you keep putting these up ?
I think it was RedKnight or something like that.

Well I'm assuming it was moved to the abyss (Trash bin) for reasons I do not know.

RDK was updating the thread every night after ranks were updated on GameTracker (6-11PM PST) when he could, as he does work and that comes first.

I was told something along the lines of it being moved because it was too redundant. However, you can find the ranks of all of our servers on the Game Server Listings.

Ah, thanks for that server listings.

But the thing is RDK always also noted how much the server popularity changed etc.
It is good if things like that are public for all eGO-Members, so that we get motivated to keep help fill the servers up.
Also I think if RDK has the time to do it every now and then, why not just let him?

I appreciate his work, and tbh I don't understand anything speaking against it :s

Would be cool if someone of leadership replies and tells us whats up.

I've been approached by various people asking where it was, so I can't see how it being there would cause any harm. It's not like it's taking up leadership resources, it was purely contributed by the members of eGO.

I can't see how it is 'redundant' if so many people noticed its disappearance and read it. #BringItBack2013

While not trying to start a big fuss, I do agree with Cronus here. It was a rather useful thread that a lot of people seemed to look upon as a resource to populate our servers. I, for one, checked it daily to see which servers needed the most help. One big thing that you could find in that thread that you can't on Gametracker nor our server listings is how many spots the server went up/down in ranks, and I used that to base my server-filling tactics on, as did numerous others.

With that said, I would like to see it return to the forums.
