Since I'm getting excited for the upcoming release of GHIII (It comes out on my birthday yay!). I played the demo, and it's so much better than GHII. I can actually 5 star hard songs now! I've even tried some songs on expert and actually got really far on the songs. Anyone going to buy it on release date? I know I will.

Also have you tried Frets on Fire? Its an open source Guitar Hero clone for your computer. You can either use your computer keyboard in the "upside down" position or plugin your xbox guitar to you computer.

I've played FoF. I have it installed right now.
Oh, and I'm getting it for 360 because my brother already has Guitar Hero II on 360. Otherwise I've would of gotten it for Wii.

I'm not so sure if I'm going to get it for 360 now. My TV in my room broke and it won't display the 360's video anymore. If I plug the 360 to another TV it works fine. My Wii still works on that TV. Weird.

Well, they made the Hammer Ons and Pull Offs easier to do, the window of oportunity to hit a note is a little bit bigger too. This allows the developers to maker harder songs. Infact this game has the hardest song in all of the GH games... Through the Fire and Flames.

I may have to get it on Wii now. My 360 is broken. This stinks because I already have GHII for 360 and I wanted 2 guitars.

So guys since my 360 is broken should I get it for Wii (the benefit is that I can play it immediatly after buying it), or for 360 (I can play multiplayer, but I have to wait 3-6 weeks to repair my 360)?

Frets on fire is amazing. I created my own custom songs for a friends band and now I can play along to one of their songs. Its really cool.

I think i might buy guitar hero 3. after i buy a console

Well you can buy GHIII on PC/ Mac. The only problem is that the specs are ridiculously high. Another down side is that PC people don't get the new guitars, but the older Gibson X-Plorer guitars for the 360.

Yeah! I got the game at 1 PM. I got it for Wii. The game is really good, but compared to the 360 version the animations are kind of choppy (also the singer looks ugly, and the drummer plays all messed up), but still this game is awesome. My brother is going to get it on 360 and we are going to switch versions because he like metal head a lot.
