Just choose which console u like better and y!!

Personally i hate the Xbox console. The only this i love about XBOX is the Xbox live.. I have had 3 Xbox 360s and 2 XBOX 360 ELITES they all broke with either disc reading error, the ring of death and the noise that sounds like a chainsaw!!

PS3 controler is way lighter and the console looks better and it has a .02% failure rate!!!

While the XBOX 360 has a 30% failure rate and the XBOX 360 Elite about a 25% failure rate!!

And my PS3 is working fine now !!!
 
I've had 3 xbox's break. All got replaced for free and it only took a few weeks.

They also gave me a year free of Xbox Live because of it.

When my PS2 broke, they just told me to go buy a new one even though it was like 4 months old. =/

I'm not paying 600 bucks for something that might break and leave me to just to have the company tell me to go buy a new one. :D

Just a note, the only reason the 360's fail some much is because people push them past the limit. You're only supposed to play them for one hour periods. Otherwise it starts getting too hot. How the hell did you go through five xboxs? They should've replaced them all for free unless you either a) bought it from a friend b) modded it or c) got a 100% "discount". If any of the the above cases apply then how do you know that it's microsofts fault?

o.O When my first xbox broke it was a year and a half old and the warranty had expired but they still fixed it for free. :D The only other times they broke was once because we were cleaning the house and a bunch of fine dust particles got into the cooling fans and made them stop spinning, overheated, and because of the Firmware update that caused shortcircuits. oO;
 
PS3.

I have a powerful computer, I'd rather buy a system that has games that AREN'T ON MY COMPUTER! There's only ONE game on xbox that isn't on computer that I'm interested in, and that's Dead Rising. But I've already beaten it on my friend's xbox.

But I'm really not into consoles, but if I had to choose one it'd be the PS3.
 
360 for sure, even though it just broke. I'm pretty much not buying a PS3 until FFXIII comes out. Why isn't the Wii on the list >.> it pwns both of them.
 
PS3! because games for ps is not coming out for PC(ok rarely it does but not the awesome ones)

and I have a 80GB PS3 + a awesome PC

360 seemed way better for a while when ps3 came out but for the last couple of months amazing games are being announced for PS3 while xbox is still waiting for the games that they announced a long time ago. and yeah it has tekken,soul calibur, Final fantasy, and the best one: MGS! + playing shooters on PS3 is easier
 
Guitar Hero 3 FTW. I'm not much of a "console guy" but what I have played I like the 360s better then the PS3s. But if i was going to get one I'd get a Wii.

Well morbid i didnt buy all of them i hate them replaced and all i tried to play was halo 3 and the other 4 games that came with the Military Appreciation Package. (Im in Military Base so we get Package!!!)
 
I voted PS3. Like Thor said, the Playstation library is easily double that of the XBox/XBox 360. ...not not just the PS3 library, the playstation library as a whole. Hell even the PS2 library is easily double that of the XBox/XBox 360.

I love my computer, and all the good games the XBox/360 has are for the PC. And more often than not, better for the PC, for reasons like modding and multiplayer. If I'm going to play a console, I want a console with unique games I can't get on the PC. The PS3 gives me that, whereas the XBox series as a whole, does not.

I actually played PS3 earlier this morning. I have to say I'm not impressed.

Yes it's got graphics that are a little better, and yes, there is alot of demos. But most of the games that I played were the same games I've been playing on Playstation for the past 10 years. I mean come on... they're basically all the same story line.... same gameplay... same controls....

Lair, was an alright game, graphics were nice, but wholey boring.
Resistance: Fall of man.... Eh... seems like a mix between Bioshock... HalfLife.... and Area51...
Haven't play Blazing Angels on PS3 but it DID come out for 360 First and I liked it on there.

I might actually buy one.... but I'll still be a hardcore Xbox Fan. The pros and cons of the two systems just weighs more heavily towards a win for Xbox...

Good games, good companies, good publishers, and the ability to easily play with your friends and actually have a Community GUI that's easy to use beats anything the PS3 has right now including the Demos, Graphics, and PSOnly games.

What I'm looking forward to is the Homes game. I think that'd be cool.

Nintendo Wii beats Xbox and PS3 :D

360 will again jump to the head of the class when it's new HD equiped system is released next year. No more need for the extra HD player. What will all the PS3 people have to say then??? Can't find the article on gamespot.com any more or I would provide a link.

Would that not increase the price of the system to FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS, though?

The article I read did not say, but my guess is it will replace the current elite instead of the elite getting a price drop. It will be up against Sony's new 40GB PS3 for $499 so I would think it would be in the $449-$499 range. Toshiba is backing the project since they own the rights to HD DVD and the article said they are taking their time to keep cost and hardware failures low.
