Hey everyone I just wanted to say Happy Memorial Day. To all of y'all contemplating joining the military I want to give y'all a warm welcome. Being a Sergeant in the U.S. Army I do hope I get the chance to lead some of you and mentor you.
Don't be scared or intimidated by the casualties of war, because we are a peace keeping military, while we may be at war now we will not be soon. The US Military is designed and maintained to defend the Constitution and the people, not to wage war. You can have many fruitful careers in the oldest branch, the Army or the newest, the Air Force. You can join the Navy or Coast Guard or be a Marine, but rest assured no matter what branch you choose we are grateful for your future service.
For all others in life, support your troops, rather it be in the UK, Canada, Australian or US support them, show them appreciation. While I receive a lot of thanks on a weekly basis none are diminished, I appreciate all and it makes my late nights and early mornings worth it!
Thank you my fellow comrades for supporting my freedom, and a special thanks to those who support my comrades and me-your gratitude is as important as our service! Thank you! Happy Memorial Day!
