To my dear pals Anni and Rufio...

Please, I remember the days of Dollar Bill and blacked-out home games. Back when it was as anathema to be a Hawks fan as it is to be a Cubs fan now.

Besides the game winning goal and seeing Howard with his weak glove hand, I also love 0:29. Look at all those sad little faces!

Problems with Chicago Fans (they are classless)
1. "Detroit sucks" chant. I have never heard any crowd care more about the other team than the classless Hawks fans. They might actually be cheering, "Stanley Cups" (phonetically similar I guess) , because they wish they had 12 like Detroit.
2. Their "skate onto the ice song" is "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. Ted Nugent is called the "Motor City Man" because he is from DETROIT. Wooo! Chicago loves watching their team warmup to a Detroit song! For some reason they still haven't figured this out. They might as well play "Lose Yourself" by Eminem. Morons.
3. Cheering and clapping during the National Anthem. Apparently developing class takes time, as does learning to respect the game, but at the very least learn to respect your country.
4. Chelsea Dagger is the most annoying song in the world. There is a reason it's never played on the radio...
5. Patrick Kane beats up cab drivers because they can't break a dollar bill. Seriously, Google it.
6. Toews looks like an alien. Can't wait to see him cry when the big boys from LA smash him against the boards. Maybe the sound director at the Madhouse will play "California Dreams". I bet Hawks fans would sing along, oblivious to the irony.

As frustrated as I am with losing three in a row, I'm proud of the way this team played. Anyone who paid attention to this Detroit team all year would be a liar if they claimed the Wings would force 7, or hell, beat Anaheim for that matter. Casual fans will just say, oh its just another Detroit team making a decent playoff run without actually looking at our lineup.
Bottom six: Brunner, Nyqvist, Andersson, Eaves, Miller, Emmerton...who are those clowns?
Bottom four D-men: Smith, Quincey, Kindl, Colociaivo...who? clown. who? clown.
Proud of those clowns and look forward to seeing them develop into the next wave of elite wings.

Not suppose to be seen as disrespect, but a way to support the country. All the "unique" things you Red Wings have is throwing an Octopus on the ice. Like, what does that have to do with hockey and a Red Wing? Lastly, here's one of the first National Anthems where people started to cheer. Looks pretty patriotic to me :)

Note, this was at Chicago Stadium, not United Center.
