Well the title says it all. I changed my antivirus to Norton 360 and for some reason AVG wont uninstall. I've gone to the control panel, add or remove program thing, and uninstalled from there and it said it uninstalled successfully, but now AVG shows back up

Go to that link to follow the companies recommended uninstall method for 2013. There is also a link (which is what you want) on that page toward the end of the instructions that is for the AVG removal tool that you will need to run. Let me know if this resolves your issue as it should.

That's because most professional virus scanners embed into the operating system and run at the kernel level, giving them total dominance over your PC. This is why sandboxing, emulation, etc is usually incorporated now a days. :facewall:
