@ wally, i also get 2weeks and christmas then another midterm for a week in feburary then 2weeks at easter then three months for summer holidays. In Irealnd no one ever does anything,

i think i get a break in winter for like 1 week but we get a decent amount of snow so me might have some days off for snow.
