I've decided to stop playing video games

Honestly i'm almost in the same boat as you Immortal. I left gaming about a year and a half ago and i couldn't dedicate my time to gaming because i had found my true passion which was making music. I couldn't stick around and leave all those opportunities hanging there while i was stuck sitting in a chair and in front of a screen. I came back just recently because well, its summer time and there isn't much to do. But whatever decision you are leaning towards, just remember; be the real "you" and don't let anyone change you because "you" are unique and "you" control your own life.

I'm gonna miss you so much immortal, but I wish you the very best of luck in life my friend, it has been quite an honor to play with someone like yourself. Do me a favor and take good care of yourself

immortal,
there is no reason to be so drastic, games get in our blood and we have to play, You are a good players so enjoy the games and I will let you kill me more often. So please meet us all in dods or what ever game you like. Or if you have have definitely made up your mind, take care and we will all miss you.

Take it easy, man. Only you know what would be best. I think everyone games for different reasons, or some for no reason at all. What I think is cool is that even with all the different personalities of people who are all in different stages of their lives, there are a few hours a day that we all are the same, and I dig that.

Do what you gotta do, we are all behind you 100%, but hop in vent to say hi, or shoot a message here. And heck, we may even see you back in Kalt at some point in a few months, even if just for a half hour.

Don't be a stranger!

I think you're right Mr.Mr about you being you and knowing whats best for you. Thanks for taking the time to reply my friend

Bergen I didn't get to know you for long but every second of it I had a smile on my face. You have a child like infectious innocence and its awesome I wouldn't change it. I'm gonna miss you too

London I thought you'd give me an atta boy but I guess thats how the dice rolls. London I just feel like I can do a lot more and that if I play 1 hour a day it'll make me just want to play more. I was thinking I could maybe allocate a day where I play like crazy once every 2 or 3 weeks. At any rate i'm glad I got the opportunity to play with you. I'm sad I didn't play ava more because I missed playing with you

Tip you're totally right. Thats the crazy thing about video games, its how social they are. It fulfills entertainment and the need for companionship but companionship was never meant to be virtual and I think it leads to problems. At any rate I wish you the best and I'm glad you spent some time with me back in the day on Kalt.

Will miss you immortal, tnx for being one of the players that made dods challenging yet fun to play with. Will miss you and tnx for being a role model.

I wish you all the best Immortal :)
In life, timing is everything, things change and decisions are made. The world is always there to see and many things still to be done by each individual.

I think I can relate to knowing how it is like with the aspect of gaming and much of life to see.
Luckily for me, at the age of 26, I've been around the world, lived in a third world country for 16 years and the United States for 10 years. I've seen two completely different sides of the spectrum. Games can be very addicting and yeah, there are a lot of things in life and around the world for people to see and experience. I guess learning how to balance these things in life is a decision in itself.

As said before, I do wish you all the best. If on occasion you wish to game, I think it'd be fair to say most here would be happy to see you around.

Cheers Immortal :)

Immortal, your writing is very organized and your words were well thought out. You have more courage than me, quitting gaming cold turkey. Good luck, when you get your affairs in order you may find that you can balance gaming with the rest of life. Either way, good luck, and can you please tell my wife that I earned the right to game 24/7;)
