Is this just me?

ALL weapons and myself are green black and purple and so am I. Its also making me very laggy, so is this just me or is anyone else having the same problem,

well it sounds like your missing your materials, so it doesnt have anything cover the models with....has this just started happening?, or have you edited anything in your steam folder at all?

I recommend that you re intsall the game.....you probably have missing materials like Walmart said

It may be because you minimized the game. try wuiting and tehn going back into the game.

Whenever a source game is missing a texture, it defaults the texture to purple and black squares. (You're missing textures)

Just go into steam and delete TF. Then re-download it.

You don't need to reinstall TF2 just yet. Right-click it in your Games list, go to Properties, Local files, Verify integrity of game cache. This'll check the game's encrypted files for corruption.

If you do end up reinstalling, it'd probably be better to just delete the "\SteamApps\USERNAME\tf2\tf\materials" folder rather than the root folder or the GCF files. At least at first, to see if it works.

Nah, you need to reformat the computer and reinstall windows. haha. Seriously though, do what Yoo-Hoo said. Check the integrity of it.

Actully hate to tell you all, I turn off the game and went back in and everything was great, so thank god I did'nt have to reinstsll steam, or delete any files,

You should probably try restarting the game, BEFORE you post a thread like this.

Doing so without trying to at least restart the game yourself, is actually wasting people's time. Asking for help is fine, but to do so when you haven't even tried all of the very basic fixes yourself is close to spam in my personal opinion. (Though, obviously I'm not an administrator or even a moderator here of any sort.)

Yeah, whenever things get weird in-game I just quit, restart and it's usually fixed.
